It is so tempting to just want to clear something up over email, but it’s really the worst platform for doing edits to a document. It seems to happen whenever there is something different about the lead up, like incorporating the feedback of a guest blogger.
If a communication k-hole starts to develop between you and someone else, pull up the original document and work off of that — resist with all your might the urge to edit it directly on the blog. Plus, if you use Google Docs, the document itself will have better avenues of communication like comments and suggestion mode.
