Several of my clients have been working with me for over a decade, and our relationships have evolved considerably in that time. It’s like, in the beginning, we all recognized that friends spill the beans to other friends.
My current job supplies me with clients who are so high achieving that sometimes I wear a tuxedo when I talk to them. They’re not just excellent in their career; their jobs often involve moral and ethical dilemmas, including racism and misogyny. Working with people like these has brought me to a place where I now shout from rooftops, “Always hire a professional who has a blog!”
Any real blog — as opposed to more Twitter-like blogs — shows that the person behind it is passionate about their profession. In another post I will figure out a way to tell you some of the things I have been able to do for clients. Hint: It involves speaking engagements.
